ALLDAY Project’s Tarzzan Faces Calls for Removal Over Alleged Support of Convicted Abuser

THE BLACK LABEL‘s co-ed group ALLDAY Project has found itself embroiled in a second wave of backlash, this time centered around member Tarzzan (Lee Chae-won), who is facing demands for removal following allegations of supporting a convicted abuser.

Announced earlier this week, ALLDAY Project broke the mold by forming a mixed-gender lineup, which includes former ILLIT trainee Youngseo and ex-Trainee A rapper, Jo Woo-chan. But despite early excitement, much of the conversation has shifted toward the group’s male member, Tarzzan — first over alleged cultural appropriation, and now, his Instagram activity.

Netizens discovered that Tarzzan follows Tory Lanez, the Canadian rapper convicted in 2023 on three felony charges — including the assault of Megan Thee Stallion with a semiautomatic firearm. Many view this as a form of implicit support, igniting outrage and a growing movement demanding accountability.
Comments across social media platforms are growing more intense:
- Following someone like that isn’t ‘just social media.’ It reflects values.”
- YG, do better. This group hasn’t even debuted and it’s already chaos.”
With the group still in its pre-debut phase, fans have begun organizing outreach efforts to THE BLACK LABEL, urging the agency to address the issue transparently. Some supporters of the other members fear the controversy will tarnish the group’s image before their debut.
As of now, THE BLACK LABEL has remained silent, offering no public response to the mounting criticisms.
